In this 40 minute class students will learn how to play the online game Gartic Phone. The players write a funny sentence or a few words and the next person will have to draw that sentence to the best of their ability. Once the timer goes off, the next person must now guess what the drawing is and write a sentence or group of words that describes what he or she sees. This game is best played with 4 or more players. Students must know how to read and write and have good fine motor skills to draw on the computer or at least have some help nearby in order complete this class without frustration. This game is a lot of fun...so expect lots of laughs!
Learning Goals
Students will learn creativity and socials skills as they talk and laugh about how the original sentence is now something so different. I will remind all students to remain polite and respectful when talking about other participants drawings.
