Does your child love Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends? If so, this is the class for you! In this class your child will meet Thomas and his friends from the Island of Sodor. We will practice color identification and learn how to use the words "same" and "different" to compare objects by sorting the trains into their specific groups. We will also practice the skill of counting by counting the number of trains in each color group. This class will be mostly discussion based, which will...
Students will be able to identify the colors: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. They will apply their knowledge of colors to compare objects that are the same and different. The students will be able to graph the number of trains in each color group with support.
I will provide a template for your child to use during the class. This will be uploaded to the class for you to download. Markers or crayons to color in the graph provided.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
