My name is Allan Lalic and the proud co-founder of Kebloom. As a person, I always believed that not everyone fits into the school system, and that is ok, we generally are called the “black Sheep” of the class, well in Australia and maybe other parts of the world use different terminology. An outsider could be the global term! but I see this as the biggest gift and compliment that anyone can give. We are the ones that work towards becoming what we want to become and not what others tell us what we should be.
I see the world changing for the better and a Global Business Opportunity with Kebloom
Let’s call it The Perfect Storm, especially as the global pandemic has illuminated a widening gap between the life skills needed to succeed in the workplace and the academic skills being taught in schools around the world. The education system is fundamentally broken.
Disengaged students, disenfranchised teachers, rising tuitions, irrelevant and dated curriculum, and strained budgets are but a few of the systemic problems faced by education. Consequences are significant, only 46% of high school students think their education is relevant as it lacks financial literacy, creative thinking, and entrepreneurship. Further, while 67% of high school graduates go to college in the U.S., 53% of them are unemployed after graduation. As time goes on, 50% of workers are unhappy in their jobs. Stuck in its bureaucratic ways, a solution will not come from traditional education.
The Gig economy. Young people are driving the Gig economy. It is reported that one third of US workers have a “side gig” and 72% of high school students hope to own their own business someday.
My mission is to engage, equip and energize young entrepreneurs and set them up to be successful adults. We do this by offering the life skills of leadership, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial expertise.
I have worked with hundreds of Gen Z’s globally and inspired then as they have inspired me to truly work on their ideas with Kebloom where you can discover who you are and what makes you you! belonging to a global community of likeminded young people that support and encourage you to be your best self and doing this via a step-by-step process to guide you through the process of turning an idea into reality and launching it with confidence. We have interviewed dozens of young entrepreneurs around the world that have thanked us in what we are doing and grateful that there are platforms such as Kebloom that has been made to help many more young people become using their superpowers to find their passions, interests and skills.
We have been acknowledged by state governments of Colorado USA, NSW, Australia in terms of the great things we have done and contributed, Funding of Grants has been provided by the Australian Government, we have been nominated for start-ups to watch out for in Tech Tribune and Built in Co. I have been on TV shows and podcasts. I have been nominated for as a finalist as an outstanding Global Mentor via the Founders Institute, helping early-stage adult entrepreneurs kickstart and help their ideas grow.
We are growing out to 26 different countries and more recently expanded into the Caribbean, Central ASIA and just recently into Africa, and have onboarded our first schools in Kazakhstan and Nigeria.
