Entertain & engage your kids these school holidays! Your kids will have fun and make new friends, on the way to creating their very own business. We help young people discover their passions and develop real-world skills, delivered by live facilitators with a mix of online collaboration and offline challenges. How it works: - 5 day online program, 2 hours per day. - Develop a "big idea" using Kebloom's exclusive online business "Launch Box". - Kebloom's facilitator takes students through each step of the Kebloom Launch Box starting with self-discovery, ideation, planning & preparing to get their idea ready to launch. - Fun and interactive sessions with a live facilitator to guide and mentor students throughout the program, including learning tasks, fun games & activities & group discussions. - Afterwards, complete offline challenges they can do from home. - Hear from inspiring successful kid & grown-up entrepreneurs. - Make new friends, collaborate online in a safe, friendly environment. Workshop Outline: Session 1: Introduction & program overview Be who you are! - students will uncover their superpowers , discover their passions, interests and skills and design their own superhero avatar. Session 2: Let’s think about this & name it! - students will work in groups to identify a problem that needs solving and use their problem solving skills, creativity and superpowers to brainstorm to come up with a solution. They will give their idea a name. Session 3: Who's it for? - students will understand who their customers are and how they are helping them. Students will conduct research to better understand their target market and develop a customer profile Let's make a plan! - students will understand all the elements to turn their idea into reality - what activities need to be completed, what resources will they need, who will help them and when will they spend time on their idea to turn it into a reality? Session 4: Let's make a plan! - students will continue to work through their plan and come up with a detailed action plan & resource list. Money Talk! - to better understand the money piece, students will work out how much it will cost them to set up and develop their idea and how much they should charge. Students will learn what revenue and profit is. In their groups they will work out their profit margin and what the price of their product or service will be. Session 5: Where are you headed? - students will set personal and business objectives using SMART goals. They will be shown how they can launch their idea onto the Kebloom Shop. You do not need to have an existing business idea before attending the workshop. Kebloom's workshop will help you come up with your business idea (or help you validate an exisiting idea) and take you through a step by step process to help you get your idea ready to launch. This is great for School Students, Home School Groups and Home School Families Kebloom's facilitators typically have a teaching and business background and are supported by the Kebloom team. At the conclusion of the workshop, everyone will receive a certificate and 12-months subscription to Kebloom's online platform (valued at $60USD). Kebloom's online platform allows students to keep working on their business idea using the support tools within the platform, and can launch their own online store onto the Kebloom Shop.
