Build and Share an "I'm Bored" Idea Kit

There is nothing wrong with being bored. Boredom can become the mother of creativity. Sometimes, though, we need a little nudge. Often, parents feel responsible for providing that nudge. This kit - made by and for each individual student - will lift that responsibility from parents and put it squarely on the child. Week 1: We'll discuss what an "I'm Bored" kit is, how we'll put it together, and start brainstorming ideas for what will go in each of our kits. We'll also discuss...

Homework Offered
Students will be required to complete their kits before week 2 and come to that meeting prepared to present it to the class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

30-50 craft sticks (large enough for students to write on with a marker) container large enough to hold all the sticks (we use a large plastic tumbler) marker (I suggest a Sharpie or something else on the permanent side)
