Broadway Babies is a class for learners ages 3-6. This class will meet for 40 minutes and together we will sing, dance, and play to learn the fundamentals of jazz dancing and theater. I have taught all styles of dance for many years and it is very important to me that every child feels successful and has a fun time! Each class will include a welcome "circle", short warmup, movement based songs, step of the week, combination, and goodbye song. An example "step of the week" could include learning the differences between a hop, jump, and a leap. I make sure to incorporate lots of games and silly moments as well. No experience is required - just be ready to put those hands on hips and smiles on lips! I cannot wait to meet you and have so much fun!

My name is Esther Katz and I can't wait to dance and have so much fun with you! I have taught dance and theater classes for over four years. I also have worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher. I am currently a student at Hofstra University earning my degrees in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, and History.
My classes cover tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, and theater. My goal is that every learner feels confident, comfortable, and successful during and after every class. I can't wait to meet you!
