Welcome to a world of boundless creativity and imagination in the Brilliant Brainstorming Genius class! This exciting and dynamic course is tailored to ignite your child's innate genius, empowering them to become fearless thinkers, innovative problem solvers, and visionary creators. Through engaging activities, games, and challenges, students will learn techniques and strategies to think beyond the ordinary, challenge assumptions, and explore new horizons of creativity. Your child will develop critical problem-solving skills by tackling real-world challenges, along with some make-believe situations, and finding innovative solutions that make a positive impact. The world is constantly changing, and so are the problems we face. Students will cultivate adaptability by brainstorming for a variety of scenarios, encouraging them to think on their feet. The individual lessons will include content for how to implement different problem-solving strategies. For example: Topic/Theme 1 week one: STEP strategy/solve make-believe problem Topic/Theme 2 week two: STEP strategy review/solve real-world problem Topic/Theme 3 week three: Root Cause Analysis Topic/Theme 4 week four: Decision Matrix
Learning Goals
Students will improve these skills: problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical thinking, creative thinking, public speaking, active listening, and supporting ideas and opinions.
