In this class, we will meet each week to listen to and write different styles of poetry by using our imaginations and a variety of techniques that will inspire creativity, a love for writing, and freedom to share opinions through writing.

This fun and engaging course is designed to inspire your child's natural imagination while equipping them with tools to become better readers and creative writers. Students will improve and use these language skills: critical thinking, analytical thinking, creative thinking, creative writing, public speaking, active listening, and supporting ideas and opinions.
I teach educational classes that boost student engagement and make learning fun. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-8 and have been an Educator teaching K-4 for the last 10+ years. My motto for teaching is, “What you do AND don’t do makes a difference. Always DO your best!” When I am not teaching, I enjoy photography, traveling, crafts and spending time with my husband and our two small dogs--Willow and Winnie.
