Join me for a fun and interactive 4-day Reading Comprehension Camp designed to help elementary students strengthen their reading skills, build confidence, and fall in love with reading! Who Should Join: This camp is perfect for rising 2nd–5th graders who want to boost their comprehension skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether your child loves to read or needs a confidence boost, this camp offers something for every reader! Students will explore engaging texts daily, practice key comprehension strategies, and participate in hands-on activities that make reading come alive. What We’ll Focus On: 📖 Making Predictions 🧠 Understanding Main Idea & Details 💬 Asking & Answering Questions 🎯 Summarizing and Drawing Conclusions 🕵️ Identifying Text Features & Making Inferences ***Students should be reading at a 4th-grade reading level or above for this course. I use the Nearpod platform to create an interactive lesson. Nearpod allows students to work individually and receive private teacher feedback.
Pre-Requisites
The student should be able to read on their own at a grade 4 or higher reading level. Some questions ask for written answers.
