In this class we will read and discuss the book Really Wheely Racing Day, one of the short books from the Humphrey's Tiny Tales series. Students are to read the assigned pages before the first class hour. Class periods will be made up of reading and discussing parts of the text together and also working on various Language Arts activities during class time. I have taught first and second grade in the public school system and I have also homeschooled my own children (one has now graduated from college.) Looking forward to working with your child!
Students are required to read assigned sections of the book before each class period. Parents are welcome to read the book with their child. Occasional short writing homework assignments will be given.
