Join us for an exciting journey with Jack and Annie in "The Knight at Dawn" by Mary Pope Osborne! This 5-week class is designed for young learners to read aloud and explore the magical world of the Magic Tree House series. Meeting once a week for 45 minutes, we will read 2 chapters each session and engage in hands-on projects and fun activities that focus on improving comprehension, fluency, and decoding skills. Dive into the middle ages with Jack and Annie and bring the story to life while enhancing your reading abilities and fostering a love for books. Teachers and students must purchase their own copies of "The Knight at Dawn" by Mary Pope Osborne.

Discussion: What do castles look like, and why were they important in the Middle Ages? Discuss the difference between Jack's world and the medieval world.

Activity: Build a paper model of a medieval castle. Use printable templates for students to cut out, color, and assemble a small castle.
