Beginner Level
Each week we will do the following: - How to hold and sit with the guitar. - The basics parts of the instrument. - Rhythm practice. Class Details: - How to Count & Strum Rhythms: We start by learning the very basics, and foundational so students can truly enjoy playing songs. Without an understanding and knowledge of how rhythm is played, counted, and read, students can be left behind feeling confused and feeling defeated. Without rhythm there isn't music. - How to Read Guitar Tablature: Guitar is unlike all other instruments, in that it has its very own sheet music. Tablature or "TAB" (as we refer to it) is a very simple and straight forward way to read and write music on guitar. Students will learn in their first lesson how read guitar tablature with very easy introductory practice. - How to Hold & Use a Guitar Pick: Guitar plectrums or (Guitar Picks for short) are crucial to playing different styles of music on guitar. Students will learn how to hold the pick, how to strum with it, and how to pick individual notes. - How to Fret Notes: Fretting a note on the guitar has a lot to do with your entire posture and positioning of your arms, wrist, and the guitar itself. Fretting can be the most discouraging part of learning the guitar if it isn't taught properly. Students will be highly educated on fretting to keep learning as fun and exciting as possible. - New Song Each Week Each week (no matter if you're brand new to class or if you've taken many times before) we learn a new popular song.

Connection/join attempts after 5 minutes I can't allow as it interrupts the lesson and class.
