Class Experience

Learners must have previously taken my Level 1 Beginner class prior to LVL2 placement or have submitted/sent a video showing their guitar capabilities for correct placement.
This class is designed for novice guitar students that are out of the beginner phase but still working on some of the basics.

Student Requirements:
- Ability to fluidly ready chord charts.
- Ability to fluidly read tablature.
- Ability to play along with simple songs on time at a steady tempo.
- Basic understanding of counting and playing rhythm.
- Able to practice daily for at least 15 minutes.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
- It's best to get your learner in the habit of daily guitar practice. - The duration of the daily practice doesn't have to be long but the consistency is what will allow learning guitar as easy and as the most fun possible. - Please connect to the meeting on time. Connection/join attempts after 5 minutes I can't allow as it interrupts the lesson and class.
Supply List
1 - Acoustic or Electric Guitar
Either will work well for this class.
2 - All 6 strings are required for learning in this class.
I have videos designed for helping with tuning them.
3 - Guitar Tuner or the Guitar Tuna app
There are many free apps but I do I recommend the GuitarTuna app.
4 - Guitar Capo
Can be found for as cheap as $10 online or at local music shops.
5 - (Optional for daily practice) Music stand
Music stands are nice to keep materials at a nice eye level while practicing but are not required for class.
