I have been cooking and baking since I was 5 and have taken several cooking courses throughout my life. I am also the primary cook in my extended family.
This class easily accommodates multiple different learning needs. If your student requires any specific accommodations feel free to contact me in advance to clarify these needs. Therefore I will be able to adapt the class for them.
Students should be able to use an oven on their own. Safety will be explained in class as well. The batter is also very stiff so they need some strength or an electric mixer (ex. Kitchen aid or hand mixer)

We will be using an oven to bake the cookies at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. There is also the option to use an electric mixer if the student and parents/guardians are comfortable with it.
I will be using my personal family recipe which will be provided at the beginning and end of class for future reference.
