Class Experience
This is a one time class where we will make red velvet cookies. Inspired by my favorite cake, these are soft and chewy and delicious! In this class will start class with some brief introductions and go over the supplies we will be using. We will then work together to make the cookies one step at a time. For this class, learners will need a mixer or bowl and spoon, and second bowl and spoon to mix with. They will also need at least one baking sheet, parchment paper or cooking spray,...
For this class, learners will need a mixer or bowl and spoon, and second bowl and spoon to mix with. They will also need at least one baking sheet, parchment paper or cooking spray, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, red food coloring, and white or milk chocolate chips (I usually use white chocolate chips). The full recipe will be posted in the classroom about 4 hours before class.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
* Students will need to use an oven. Supervision is required at the parents’ discretion. * Please be mindful of any potential allergens in the recipe. If you have any questions regarding substitutions, please send me a message and I will respond within 24 hours.
