Every week, we will be baking a Holiday themed dessert. Students will practice safety, have fun, bake a delicious treat, and maybe get their hands a little dirty. Some upcoming recipes include Valentines Day themed for February.

Class experience

Learn the art of baking by creating delicious desserts
Practice following a recipe by mixing ingredients. This will show them specific math and science skills.
Gain safety tips in the kitchen
I love cooking and baking! I have been doing both for over 15 years. I started out helping my mom and dad make meals. My sister and I used to have cooking shows and pretended to have our own restaurant. Currently, I am a mom of 2 boys and am always making something in the kitchen. Like all kids, they go through picky stages and I have to get creative. I love experimenting with new recipes and baked goods. I have a lifestyle blog where I occasionally release recipes, as well.
Ingredients will be sent out a few days prior to class.

Tools all classes will need:
Mixing bowls
Measuring cups and spoons
Spatula or spoon to mix
Stand or hand mixer (not used every week but used many weeks)
This is a hands on baking class so your child will be using the oven, knives, and other kitchen equipment. Please make sure your student is aware of how to use an oven or you are around to supervise if they do not.
