Class Experience

In this babysitting class, we will focus on improving our problem solving skills.  This class will involve active listening and discussion, as well as role playing.  

*The teacher will present a babysitting scenario.
*The students will identify to problem.
*The students will share their ideas on how to resolve the problem.
*The students will actively listen to their classmates' ideas.
*The teacher will lead a discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of different possible solutions.
*The class will repeat this process with other scenarios presented by the teacher.  Some scenarios can be role played with one or two students as the children, and one student as the babysitter.

Learning Goals

Students will be prepared to resolve various situations as a babysitter.

Students will improve their problem solving skills.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
