1 hour per week. We will do individual projects and group discussions to show mastery.

Class Experience

In this course, learners will get up close and personal with the business of babysitting. We will explore their personal talents and needs for improvement, go through different potential babysitting scenarios, and prioritize SAFETY for the future sitter and the children they care for.

**First Aid & CPR are not taught on Outschool. Organizations such as the American Red Cross offer online and in-person First Aid / CPR courses if your child would like to learn more. Our emergency lessons teach Check-Call-Care, recognizing emergencies, and who to call in an emergency and when.**

Classes will meet weekly for an hour to allow time for any clarification on topics covered.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
We will discuss injuries to children and emergency situations with small children. This can be distressing discussion topics for some learners
Supply List
Baby wipes or washcloth to simulate wipes
Baby doll (does not have to be actual size)
A notebook and pen or pencil
Disposable gloves (a few pairs in case of tearing)

Worksheets will need to be printed before class
