🧸 In this unique class I, (Miss Anna), will help kids learn about how they can become a kind and responsible babysitter that kids of all ages will enjoy spending time with.  I do this by making the class enjoyable and engaging while actually sharing tons of personal tips and tricks to becoming An Awesome and Responsible Babysitter!

😃  This one time class is packed with lessons to help kids become the best babysitter they can be at a young age and will also cover some effective child care techniques like:

🤩 Kids can even choose to use the new knowledge they gain from this class to help them start making steps towards creating their own little business to earn money as a teenager like I did at their age.

👩‍🎓 Each kids who attends and completes the LIVE 75 minute class will receive a Class Completion Certificate that I will personalize for them and send them after class is completed to show families they want to babysit for as well.

-Do kids need babysitting experience to take this class? 
✨No. While experience is certainly welcome….I have tailored this class to welcome all kinds of kiddos who want to learn about babysitting and would like to use a few my tips and tricks to help them become the best babysitter they can! 

😍 This class is a wonderful way to be introduced to the world of babysitting for kids who are interested in becoming a babysitter or have already babysat a few times and want to start learning more about it to become the best they can be.

-What kinds of things will kiddos learn in this one time class?
✅ In this class students will be able to learn what the basic responsibilities of babysitting are and what’s expected of a babysitter.

✅  We will chat about why babysitting is fun and rewarding.  Along with a few examples about how it can be a bit challenging at times….. to make sure kids have realistic expectations of what being a babysitter will be like.

✅ We will take turns sharing ideas about and chatting about the kinds of fun activities babysitters can do with kids.

✅ Before class comes to an end we will also briefly discuss important topics like:
-how to make yourself standout as a responsible babysitter.  
-how to leave a positive impact on families and get them to refer you to their friends
-how to figure out how much teens / tweens should charge for their babysitting services
-how to talk to kids in a positive and kind way 
-the importance of advocating for themselves as a young person doing a job
-when we should use our cell phones ( if we have one ) while babysitting 
-how to find your first few babysitting jobs
-mothers helpers

👩‍🏫 Will kids get to learn some tips & tricks about how they can become an awesome sitter too?
YES! During the class I will touch on several subjects that will help kiddos learn how to set themselves apart from the rest of the sitters in their towns by discussing how to leave a positive and impactful impression with families while we chat about what makes a great babysitter.

👾 Will kids play a game in this class too? 
- Yes! I strongly believe that play-based learning is the best way to help kids learn! Kids will have a opportunity to learn in fun ways as they have opportunities to role play with me and engage in a game of Babysitting Trivia with me to reinforce what we learned as well! 

💻 Will the class be presented with slides for kids to utilize so they take down notes? 
Yes! This class utilizes about 20 slides to help kids learn in multiple ways. Kids can read along by viewing the slides as I speak.  This helps MANY kids retain the information better. Students are highly encouraged to take down a few notes during class that they feel are truly important to helping them succeed!  

🥳 Kids are also provided a note taking guide they can print out to help taking notes easier too!!

🎙Is this class interactive where the kids can talk with the teacher?
- Absolutely! During our time together learners will also be encouraged to engage in discussion and ask me questions about real life babysitting situations, as they view the slides on the screen with me and chat together.

👍  Will the students learn about the importance of setting boundaries and expectations for themselves as a babysitter too? 
-Yes! We will briefly discuss the expectations every sitter themselves should set for families too, which is so important for a young person starting a job like babysitting.

📝 Will kids be encouraged to take notes and ask questions?  
-Yes! I build extra time into the class to answer questions, and there also is some time allotted at the end of class to answer any lingering questions kids may have afterwards.

-Kids are also provided a print out to help them jot down important notes, or write down questions they want to ask me at the end of class if they would like to.

👩‍🏫 What is Miss Anna's virtual class environment like? 🤔
- This is a virtual classroom hosted using zoom where I can connect with each child and give them my undivided attention during this interactive class.  I like to lead all of my classes with big energy, an upbeat attitude and positive vibes to encourage kids to really immerse themselves in the learning experience and ask questions!  Kids are often encouraged to chat with me and share their thoughts as well.

- This class is a very engaging class where kids get to engage a fun and passionate conversation about child care and how to become a great babysitter that gets requested a lot in their neighborhood. 

🎓 Will each child who attends the live class get a Certificate Of Completion Certificate?
Yes. Each child will receive a virtual Class Competition Certificate they will be able to download and print after class is completed.

❓Who can join this class? 
- This class is extremely inclusive and is welcome to any pre teens and teens. Kids who are a bit younger than the recommend age range for this class may send a private request to join the class if they are mature for their age, and would be able to join class with the understanding kids must raise their hands to participate in the conversation in this class.

📝 Will kids need to bring anything to class?
- I definitely encouraged kids to take notes down on the things they find the most helpful so they can refer back to them at a later time of they need to! 

-I will provide each child with a note taking guide to help them take down meaningful notes during this class .

 ** Fun Fact: Physically writing notes down on paper, rather than typing them, OFTEN helps kids retain what they have learned in class better.

 🤫 Will kids be muted during this class?
-Occasionally, they may be muted at the discretion of the teacher. This is simply done to help eliminate background noise from kids homes so I can give each learner the chance the deserve to truly feel seen and heard during class while I give them my complete focus answering their questions. I try to avoid muting whenever possible so kids feel free to chat with me freely during the class.

 🎥 Do kids need to have their cameras on? 
- Yes. Each kiddo must begin class with their camera on per Outschools safety rules. In addition, due to the highly interactive nature of  this class are encouraged by myself to keep them on throughout class as much as possible so I can see if they are struggling to understand a concept or technique I am teaching and provide more details if needed. 

🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Is it possible to book private group lessons for a small or large group of kids who want to learn together?
-ABSOULUTELY! I have done many private group babysitting sessions and am pleased to offer this class as a PRIVATE GROUP LESSON for any Homeschool Co-Ops, Scout Troops and School Districts, and Charter Schools who would like to reserve a private class for 5 or more students.

Friendly Reminders Of Outschool Policies

* Enrolled Learners names should be showing when they attempt to enter class. Miss Anna takes Internet Safety very seriously, and will not admit anyone to class who’s name does not reflect a name recognizable as a student on her enrollment roster.
