Babysitting for Beginners - Building a Business & Caring for Littles. Join us to learn the basics of starting a babysitting business and how to care for young children. In this one time class we will discuss the skills needed to start a babysitting business and how to successfully care for babies and young children. We will discuss creating a business plan and share ideas of age appropriate games and activities to keep their young clients entertained. We will also discuss emergencies and safety precautions. Learners will have plenty of time to ask questions and get the answers they need to be confident while providing supervision for the children in their care. Learners will receive a certificate of completion after they complete the class. If you are booking this class for a GS Troop, please message the teacher before enrollment. This class will run with only 1 learner enrolled. If only 1 learner is enrolled, class might be a few minutes shorter than listed. This is an inclusive class for all learners interested in starting a babysitting business.

Parental Guidance
Body Anatomy - we will discuss diaper changing, correct body anatomy (male and female genitalia) - This is only to provide information on the correct way to wipe and clean the child during diaper changes. I will not be going into details of the anatomy, only explaining care and cleaning of the diaper area.
Food Options - we will discuss breast milk, formula and bottles. Proper cleaning and meal prep.
Infant & Child Health & Safety - we will discuss safety information and when to call parents or 911 as needed
