In this five day course students will learn about famous artists, and create art in the style of Matisse, Van Gogh, Monet, Cassatt, and Hokusai!
Class experience
In this five day art course, students will learn about world-famous artists: Matisse, Van Gogh, Monet, Cassatt, and Hokusai! Each day we will talk about one artist and their art style (Impressionism, Fauvism, and Ukiyo pictures). We will look at the artist's most famous paintings. There will be a short lesson on each artist and slides will be used as visuals. After that, students will be guided to create their own artwork inspired by the artist. My teaching style is patient and encouraging....
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn about famous Artists. Students will learn about different styles of Art. Students will recreate art in the style of famous Artists.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in history. I have a teaching credential in Art. I have a Masters in Education.
