Description

Class Experience

Over the course of four weeks, students will learn the choreography, as well as music, from the movie, "Annie Live." The songs that we will be learning are the Orphans songs, "Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" and "Hard Knock Life." The class will end with a showing of the dances that were learned. Through the dances, students will create their own character that they will embody as they dance- teaching about character work and acting while dancing. Students will also create their own...

Students will learn and pick up choreography, working on dance skills
Students will work on learning the lyrics to the songs 
Students will work on acting through dance and scripts
Students will learn about creating a character and embodying that character

Practicing the dances, songs, and scripts between classes

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Safety is at the top of my priorities.  This is a very active class so please make sure you have an ample amount of space to move, as well as proper footwear, and a water bottle. We will have an extensive warm-up as part of the class to reduce the risk of any bodily injuries. Injuries can occur if not careful or properly supervised.
