In this story/share time class, students listen to an animal book and then create a picture of their own favorite stuffed animal. They will using basic skills of listening and learn how to use oil pastels.

Beginner Level
In this story/share time class, students listen to a story/book featuring an animal(s) and then create a picture of their favorite stuffed animal. There will be time that we get to show each other our favorite stuffed animal and the picture that we created of it. We will use oil pastels to create the drawing of our favorite stuffy!
Learning Goals
Students will improve their listening skills by giving each student a chance to share.
Students will learn the basics of using oil pastels.

1. A set of oil pastels https://a.co/d/dfQ6wDW 2. Wipes (for your child's hands) 3. Oil pastel paper https://a.co/d/dfQ6wDW 4. Googly eyes and Elmer's Glue (OPTIONAL - if they would like to glue on eyes for their picture) 5. A piece of yarn or string (OPTIONAL - If they want to glue on a nose or mouth)
