In this one time class, students will be introduced to the life cycle of an apple. They will complete a craft that focuses on the main four stages of an apple's life cycle.

Class experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Students will learn about the life cycle of an apple.
Students will learn about the parts of a book.
Students will practice pre-reading skills such as reading from left to right and top to bottom.
Students will understand words represent a spoken word and convey a message.
Students will answer simple questions about the story.
Students will describe elements in a story, for example, characters and/or setting (time, place, and/or environment).
Students will learn graphing skills.
 3 files available upon enrollment
blue (or a color other than listed), red, green, brown, and white (or popsicle sticks instead of white construction paper) construction paper, scissors, glue, Red pom poms, red glitter glue or small red circles (these will be apples on the apple tree) printout that will be provided upon enrollment.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance for scissors.
