The objective of this course is to enhance a student's abilities in: - Playing (and winning!) the main cannon of the game - Learning how to spend in-game currency in a time-efficient manner - Knowing where to go at various stages of the game - Understanding Nook's Cranny as well as interactions with Tom Nook - Using and obtaining Miles and Bells - Building Ramps and Bridges - Getting villagers to move to your town - Expanding your home - Navigating the Island Map - Taking advantage of the Turnip Market (an introduction to using the Stock Market in real life) - Letting your creative side loose through island development - Expanding upon the 'Critterpedia' - Working with paths and landscaping tools (post-game)
Materials used in class: - Nintendo Switch (Original Switch, Switch Lite, or Switch OLED) - A digital or physical copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
