Class Experience

Students will learn all there is to know about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in this ongoing gamification class. This course will allow each student to engage with everything regarding this epic of a game while also improving their attention and problem-solving skills! Whether it is searching for and solving shrines, understanding how to navigate the map and divine beasts, or just exploring Zelda lore, this class is for all Zelda enthusiasts from beginner to very advanced.

Each student in this group of seven learners will receive direct one-on-one attention from the instructor in each lesson. The instructor will answer each learner's individual set of questions - creating a fun, engaging, discussion-based classroom environment! 

**Students are encouraged to bring their Nintendo Switch to class.**

How this ongoing class works:
- Students can join the course at any point. No information from prior classes will be needed to join.
- This format offers greater flexibility to families as they can come and go as they please.
- Students will engage in a 'Q&A and Play' each week - making for an active and social learning environment in each class every week. 

About the teacher: 
Mr. Chris is our in-house gamification expert and all-around gaming enthusiast. He has taught hundreds of students how to play and engage with video games over the last six years. Known for his kind temperament, easy-going attitude, and overall ability to connect with students authentically, learners in Mr. Chris's class always have a wonderful time. He encourages social interaction, critical thinking, and the development of problem-solving skills.
Learning Goals
The objective of this course is to enhance a student's abilities in:
- Progression through the game
- Map Navigation
- Finding and solving all 120 shrines
- Problem Solving Skills
- Communication Skills
- Beating the four Divine Beasts
- Taking on Calamity Ganon
- Locating Korok seeds
- Trial of the Sword and all other DLC
- Discussion of game glitches
- Locations of best weapons and shields
- Battle Tactics
