This is a video game social club that meets once a week. Club members will be able to meet weekly to socialize with others who also love playing video games. Members in this club can be new players or veteran players. Members can play any game they want to, as long as the game is appropriate. Members can play games on any device. It is encouraged that club members play their video games during meetings and screen share on Zoom to show their current activities. It is not required that members...

Social Club for Gamers Objectives: 1. Members will learn how to socialize in an online gaming community - sharing live gameplay appropriately - giving and receiving constructive criticism - giving and receiving advice - speaking respectfully to others - taking turns speaking/ sharing - how to use chat respectfully during live meetings 2. Members will learn how to screen share in Zoom meetings.
I have been running this club for 3 years on Outschool and have enjoyed every meeting!
Club members will need to bring the following to meetings: 1. A video game 2. A smile 3. A good attitude : )
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
PARENTIAL ASSISTANCE may be needed to set your child up to use the screen sharing feature in Zoom if your child would like to show their gameplay live in our meetings.
