Homework
1 hour per week. Optional practice problems will be provided at the conclusion of each session for students to further demonstrate mastery of their skills. These problems should take no more than 25 minutes.
Assessment
Students will be informally assessed through practice problems in class.

Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
This is a 2 session class on how to find the factors and multiples of a number. We will also discuss Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM). This is an ideal course as an introduction or as a review. 

The student will be given a printable worksheet lines that will be used during class. The worksheet can also be utilized for additional practice problems after the class is over. 

The following math concepts will be discussed:
Session 1: Finding Factors with Factor Trees and Greatest Common Factor
Session 2: Review of Factors and Introduction of Multiples and Least Common Multiple

No grades or formal assessments will be performed in this course.

 In this lesson we will define factors and learn to find factors with factor trees and identify the Greatest Common Factor of multiple numbers.
