Students will learn 8th grade math in this 14 week course. This is a full course and this class is great for those who are ready to go into 8th grade math. The syllabus below contains all of our course topics. This class will have live meetings. I will also provide guided notes and assign weekly homework on Khan Academy. I have a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida. I have experience teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry in a public Middle School. I have 10+ years of experience as a math tutor for ages 11 to 18.

Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: Weekly homework will be assigned through Khan Academy to further student mastery of the concepts. Homework will take approximately 15 - 25 minutes a day.Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: Learners will be assessed informally in class as well as through homework unit tests on Khan Academy.
Students should have prior exposure to 7th grade math topics including negative numbers, proportions, equations, and inequalities.
