This is part 1 of a 4 part Algebra course with each part covering half of a semester worth of content. The first 8 weeks will cover a total of 5 units. 1. Algebra foundations 2. Solving equations and inequalities 3. Working with units 4. Linear equations and graphs 5. Forms of linear equations. Each unit will vary in length depending on amount of related content. Each lesson will start with a review of previous content. I will then give instruction based on the new material, work...
The student will learn the basics of algebra. They will be applying these skill while working with expressions, equations, and inequalities. Applying these skills in real world problems especially as related to the linear equations.
I have worked in middle school math and Algebra classrooms for 8 years. I have tutored students ranging from 5 grade math to college Algebra in one on one and group setting as well over the past 8 years. I have been teaching Algebra related topics and math essentials on Outschool for the past 2 years.
Homework Offered
There will be regular and short homework assignments to be completed individually outside of class. There will also be 5 longer quizzes.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
