Is your learner struggling with traditional algebra instruction or looking for a more engaging approach to math? This course is designed for all learners, especially those who are neurodivergent (ASD, ADHD, dyscalculia, 2e), gifted, or outside-the-box thinkers who need a more visual, hands-on, and problem-solving-based approach to Algebra 1. What Makes This Course Different? ✅ Multi-sensory learning—We use visual models, discussion, and interactive activities instead of just formulas. ✅ Real-world applications—Students explore algebra in science, business, engineering, and nature to see why it matters. ✅ Designed for diverse thinkers—Perfect for visual, hands-on, and logic-based learners who need alternative strategies beyond rote memorization. ✅ Supportive & flexible—Mistakes are part of learning, and we focus on confidence-building, critical thinking, and discovery. 📌 Who Should Take This Class? Students who learn differently and need a structured but flexible learning environment. Gifted or 2e students who crave deeper understanding, problem-solving, and creative challenges. Hands-on and visual learners who struggle with textbook-based math. Any student who wants to build confidence in algebra through an engaging, supportive approach! 📅 Meets 2x per week for 16 weeks 🧠 No prior algebra knowledge required! 🔢 Includes interactive lessons, collaborative problem-solving, and real-world applications.
