Students also learn more about what the world was like in Michelangelo’s time, the Renaissance Period. Students will review slides of Michelangelo's work as a sculptor and his ability to make sculptures so realistic. Finally, we will look at Michelangelo as an architect and look at his design of the great dome of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Hello. I have been an art teach for 7 years as an employee of Art Masters Legacy. I teach a one hour lesson in the classroom to students in TK - 6th grade and special needs students. I attended college to become a teacher. I did not become a teacher right after college. I worked as an event planner and began teaching when my children were in elementary school. I absolutely love what I do. I call it my jobby. Art is my hobby and teaching it to students is my job. I draw like a child. I think it inspires the students and makes it obtainable for them! I am relateable. I make the lesson fun while breaking it down into very simple steps. I have been told by many teachers that I a have amazing classroom control.
