BEFORE ENROLLING - Please read through all of the information. :) Please do not enroll if you are BELOW 6 years old. This class is not super structured and they will get bored. This is for builders who want to spend 20 minutes or more building their own creation based on a theme I give. If your student cannot do that, they will get bored. Class Structure: Class is very flexible and relaxed structure. Students enter class and we usually have a video to watch. I then give the students a topic, they can build in the topic, or build whatever they want. Typically we build for around 30 minutes, so please ensure your builder is fine building on their own for that time. At the end of building, we begin showing and go through all builds. If we have time, which is not every week, we will show "extra builds" which are things built outside of class or cool sets they have. Class Guidelines and Rules: 1. Please ensure your student knows where the MUTE button is to unmute when needed. I keep them muted to help navigate the noise. 2. Advise your students not to interrupt their fellow students or myself. Please have them raise their hand. 3. Students are allowed to use sets or anything they have to build. They build on their own most of class. 4. Students are allowed to chat throughout class, but they cannot share personal info (location, game names, etc), and they are required to be respectful to each other and keep their discussion uplifting and kind. If I feel the chat gets unkind, I will lock it for the rest of class. This class is not structured but it is meant to be a fun club where they can come and have some fun while they build. There will be some music playing as well each class. Each week I have what is called VIB. This is the "Very Important Builder" of the week. This is random picks I make weekly. Everyone will get VIB and each time they win this, they get the special perk of that season. This season students get a say in the VIB of the week. IMPORTANT INFO **This class is set up to be something you join longer term. Each class is different. Some students have been in here for over a year and love welcoming new faces, but get bummed when they leave after 1 class, so if you enroll, please give it a few weeks and see how you feel. Please enroll in hopes of making it more than a one time class. We go with the flow most weeks to have fun! I offer refunds for missed classes, but I have guidelines on that. This is a popular class and spots fill quickly so always let me know if you want or need to miss and you may qualify for refund, otherwise, you may lose your spot. In order to see if a refund is available, it must meet the following guidelines: 1. If a makeup class is set by me, due to a class having to be moved, either in the same week or if it has been set in the schedule, you will not receive a refund. You can access recordings and all resources. 2. If you must miss class, you must ask for a refund before the day of class. If you ask on the day of class or after, no refund will be given. 3. I only offer up to 2 refunds per 3 months in class with me. If you have a shorter class, shorter than 10 classes, I will only offer 1 refund week in that class. Once you enroll, you will be enrolled for all the classes listed on the schedule. This is an ongoing club so after you join in, you can un-enroll whenever you want. You will most likely be in class with the same people weekly. The spots will fill quickly so reserve your spots. This class is meant to be a fun get together for those who love building and want to grow their knowledge and practice their skills.

My name is Savannah. I am married to a wonderful guy, and recently became a new mom to a beautiful little girl. I enjoy family and friends, and I love to travel. I have traveled to over 20 countries and love experiencing the world.
First off, I am a certified teacher of 9 years in English, Social Studies, and Science. I also have a Bachelor’s in Business, a Master’s in Marketing, and a Master’s in Teaching.
My passion for teaching took me to the classroom for a time, and then I taught for the largest Charter School in the US. I am well versed in all grade levels and all subjects due to teaching for a charter. In addition to that, I have worked in the education field in various forms for the past 8+ years.
I have created reading plans for the younger levels, worked on testing and writing skills with many grades, worked on ACT and GED prep, and so much more. I have done a bit of everything.
I enjoy taking a student where they are and helping them grow to their fullest potential. I strive for students to not only succeed, but to believe in themselves. I like to make learning FUN! Education is something that is no longer valued as much in our society, and we need to correct that. Education unlocks the door to the future.
If your student is struggling with any topic or you just want them to be engaged and learn about fun things, I would be glad to teach them a class. I look forward to it!
