This class helps students practice describing pictures, a key skill for the Cambridge speaking exam, and also a great way to improve conversational English skills. Each session will involve one of the following: Spot the Difference: This classic activity involves comparing two similar pictures and finding the small differences between them. This helps improve attention to detail while building vocabulary and accuracy in English! Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
I'm Patrick, from the UK. Since 2017, I’ve taught English to students of all ages and abilities, both online and in classrooms in Vietnam. I have taught complete beginners in kindergarten, all the way up to fluent speakers practicing for exams (IELTS and Cambridge), and pretty much everything in between!
My primary focus as an ESL teacher is on speaking. I am passionate about helping young learners’ gain confidence with their conversational skills, in a friendly and relaxed environment. Classes will involve variety of interactive and fun activities. We’ll explore, discuss, and practice describing interesting pictures, play engaging word games, and even create stories together!
Coming from South East England, my accent is often considered the easiest to understand in Britain and is sometimes referred to as "BBC English."
My hobbies include football, guitar, and travel.
