1-2 hours per week. Students will need to prepare a 3-5 minute speech for each class. This should take no longer than 1-2 hours to prepare each week.Assessment
Students will receive valuable instruction and feedback in each class with tips for improvement in both the content and delivery of their speech.Class Experience
Participants in this ongoing speaking club will receive a topic/prompt on which to prepare a 3-5 minute speech. This topic will be posted in the classroom approximately one week prior to each class. They will present their prepared 3-5 minute speech in class in a weekly speaking contest after which they will submit a vote for the person who had the best speech (besides themselves). The person with the most votes at the end of class will be declared the winner and will be sent a printable certificate with their name on it! Students will receive valuable instruction and feedback in each class with tips for improvement in both the content and delivery of their speech.

Parental Guidance
While I encourage students to speak on topics that are school-appropriate, I do not have control of the content that is delivered by each student in response to the weekly prompt.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
