US Grade 3 - 6
In this 4 week class learners will gain confidence with public speaking. Each week we will discuss a different aspect of public speaking. Each student will be asked to prepare a small speech to present from the homework prompt. I will give feedback to each student. I believe learning should be fun in order for the student to retain knowledge which in turn helps to build confidence. My hope is that each student will ultimately enjoy public speaking and be able to use the skills they learn to excel in any area of their lives.

4 Lessons
over 4 WeeksLesson 1:
Intro to Public Speaking
This lesson is an intro. We will have time for introductions and getting to know each other. We will discuss being nervous and give tips and tricks to help ease the nervousness. We will discuss voice projection and fidgeting. We will talk about our first public speaking topic for next week. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
My favorite Things to Do
Each student will have time to present their public speaking homework assignment and get feedback. We will talk about the next assignment. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Opinion Assignment
Each student will have time to present their public speaking opinion assignment and get feedback. We will discuss our final assignment. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Reporting the Facts
Each Student will have time to present their public speaking facts assignment and get feedback. 25 mins online live lesson
