Class Experience

My goal is to teach children that in a world full of tv and video games, old fashioned crafts and activities are still fun!
Also to encourage children to sew, it's a wonderful skill to have.
I've been sewing simple projects for about 27 years!
Fabric Pen or pencil (to draw the heart onto the fabric) Pins Sewing needle Thread Scissors Stuffing (cotton balls, scrap fabric, Polly fill ect.) NOTE: Please be advised that some "stuffing" options such as tissue paper will make your pillow unwashable as the tissue paper will break down in the washing machine.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
CAUTION: In this class we will be using scissors, pins and needles to sew our pillow. We will NOT be using a sewing machine in this class. If you would like to use your sewing machine in a class with me, please see my A Pioneer Valentine's Day: Heart Banner class.
