In session one, we will learn what goes into writing a book, from the seed of an idea to writing the first draft to final revisions. We'll discover how writers breathe life into characters, create plots, and build worlds that readers will fall in love with. Then, in session two, we will learn what it takes to get that book published with a major publisher and on the shelves in bookstores and libraries! We'll cover literary agents and what they do, how publishers choose which books to publish, how writers get paid, and lots more "behind the scenes" information for aspiring young writers!
