In this one-time course, students will learn the basic shapes and colors in a fun way. Students will be learning social skills, singing, playing games, and doing fun worksheets!

This will be a fun and interactive course for your little ones to learn shapes and colors. We will be singing, playing games, and doing fun worksheets. Each student will be taking turns to practice the different shapes and colors and I will be correcting them if needed. Class Agenda: 1) Introduction 2) Learn basic shapes such as circle, square, triangle, etc - each student will have a turn to practice 3) Learn basic colors such as red, blue, green, etc- each student will have a turn to practice 4) Sing a color song 5) Play a game distinguishing different colors and shapes 6) Worksheets 7) Goodbye I believe children learn best when they are interacting and enjoying what they are doing. Your child can meet other children from all over the world and can have an experience they love. Worksheets will be provided before class so your child can work in class and even after class. Let's have a wonderful time together while learning!

Hello, my name is Joanne. Nice to meet you!
I was born in Hong Kong but moved to Canada when I was six years old. Growing up, my family speaks to me in Cantonese so I'm bilingual in Cantonese and English. After graduating from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Geography, I went back to Hong Kong to work. Working in Hong Kong for ten years has deepened my understanding of Chinese culture and language. I love both languages and use them daily with my family and friends.
I am now back in Canada and have been teaching children for over 10 years. I am a TESOL-certified online ESL teacher and currently teaching online ESL English and Cantonese to children in the US, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Korea from ages 4-13. I am also teaching Korean adults. I also have a ten-year-old son and we love to read, play in the park, and explore new places.
I believe you will learn more and be better at it when you are enjoying what you are doing. I love to make my students smile and laugh. I will use my bilingual skills and my experience with children to help each student to learn their best. My classes are fun, engaging, and educational.
