Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
In this class students will learn the following 3rd grade math skills:

Multiplication as equal groups
Multiplication with arrays
Multiplication on the number line
Multiplication in context
Commutative Property in Multiplication 
Rounding to the nearest 10 or 100
Estimate to add multi digit numbers
Estimate to subtract multi digit numbers
Strategies for adding 2 and 3 digit numbers
Strategies for subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers
Adding with regrouping within a 1000
Subtracting with regrouping within a 1000
Addition and subtraction missing value problems
Addition and subtraction word problems 

I have 12 years of experience teaching students math courses online and in the classroom. 
There is no required homework for this class. Students will be given a link to the Kahoot game we use in class as a way to review the lesson after class. 
In this class students will need to following materials: 1. Something to write on (paper, marker board, chalk board, or digital screen) 2. Something to write with (pencil, marker, pen, crayon, colored or pencil etc.) 3. A second device to play Kahoot on (this is not required) 4. Snacks, candy etc. (this is not required) 5. Wear a costume (this is not required)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed using the Kahoot game we use to answer the questions individually in class. 
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students in this class will be using the website Kahoot. Kahoot will be used for students to be able to submit their answers to math questions in the lesson independently. Kahoot can be accessed using the link ( No download is needed to use Kahoot in class and it is free. Kahoot is an approved third-party website/app by Outschool. 

This is NOT a scary Halloween lesson.  It is meant for young learners. 
We will use the Kahoot website/app in class to practice answering 3rd grade math questions. Kahoot is an approved website by Outschool.
