1:1 Support with Ms. Z

In this 1:1 tutoring session, I provide personalized academic support in reading, writing, and math for elementary and middle school students. Each session is tailored to your learner’s needs, whether we’re reinforcing classroom skills, catching up on missed concepts, or building confidence in a tricky subject.

What will be taught?
Depending on your learner’s goals, I can support phonics and fluency, reading comprehension, writing structure and grammar, foundational math, or problem-solving strategies.

What topics will you cover?
Topics vary by student and may include:

Reading comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency

Writing sentences, paragraphs, and stories

Grammar, spelling, and editing skills

Math facts, word problems, and multi-step operations

Test-taking strategies or homework help

How is your class structured?
Each session begins with a quick check-in and goal setting. From there, we dive into a mix of guided instruction, practice activities, and review. Sessions end with a short wrap-up and optional take-home tips or practice.

I use a variety of engaging tools like slides, drawing tools, digital manipulatives, and fun visuals. Sessions are interactive and adapted to your learner’s pace and learning style.

How much will learners get to interact with you?
This is a fully interactive 1:1 session. Learners are encouraged to ask questions, think aloud, play learning games, and take an active role in their progress.
