In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to solving systems of equations either by graphing, substitution, or elimination depending on learner preference or need. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using cross multiplication to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of operations with whole numbers, the distributive property, and solving equations with variables on both sides before attending this class.
