1:1 Guided Math Practice: 5th Grade Eureka Math

In this class, learners will be given guided practice problems to practice skills and concepts typically taught in the fifth grade Eureka Math curriculum. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Eureka math curriculum materials will not be provided in this class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes to work on together.  

Concepts and skills can include any of the following:
•Module 1: Powers of Ten, Decimal Place Value, Rounding Decimals, Adding Decimals, Subtracting Decimals, and Multiplying/Dividing Decimals by Whole Numbers
•Module 2: Multiplying Multi-Digit Whole Numbers, Order of Operations, Dividing Whole Numbers by One-Digit and Two-Digit Divisors, and Multiplying/Dividing Decimals by Whole Numbers
•Module 3: Adding and Subtracting Fractions and Mixed Numbers with Unlike Denominators
•Module 4: Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers, Equivalent Fractions, Scaling by Fractions
•Module 5: Geometry
•Module 6: Coordinate Plane and Multi-Step Word Problems
