Students will be able to incorporate four literary devices into a creative writing piece: Simile, Onomatopoeia, Alliteration and Personification.
Students are given an optional home-based writing task to practice the skills they learnt in our lesson.
Students will be given some written feedback after class to the parents, indicating the students strengths and areas which they can continue to work on.
40 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
We will use a worksheet for each literary device to complete together as a team.
