Students will receive and give feedback on their novels and screenplays as they write or edit. Students are welcome to bring a work-in-progress or one they have completed (finished writing) to receive feedback on. Homework Offered
Students will need to prepare up to five pages (or all of it) of their book, put into a google doc, and place in the padlet 48 hours before class starts to receive feedback that week. If the novel or screenplay is complete, I recommend posting the entire manuscript and you can proof the next five pages before class with anything you have learned. Students will read and give feedback to their classmates in those 48 hours before class starts. They need to be prepared to explain their feedback in class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Students will use Padlet to post their links to their Google Docs for their classmates to suggest and comment on their pages. Students may use their google account provided by a school district, but some districts don't allow sharing of docs outside the district. If this is the case, the student will need to make a google account for this class (or use a guardians). Students can use their google account to log in to Padlet.
