Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 12
Beginner - Advanced Level
*Due to my busy evening and weekend schedule, I am unavailable to tutor classes at these times. Let me know if you are struggling with signing up for this class with ClassWallet or any other program because of this class's new format. I have a way that I can set you up with me or you may check out my other class (Tutoring Middle and High School Math - With a Certified Tutor!) and shouldn't have any problems signing up for this one. Let's make understanding math concepts easier together. Sometimes students can get frustrated or overwhelmed in their classes with too many confusing ways to solve problems. My job is to provide clarity and relieve anxiety in a wide range of mathematics. In this class, we will review the main topics learned in the Mathematics course the student is currently enrolled from graphing to using formulas to solving equations and so much more! The student will be allowed (and encouraged!) to ask any math questions that help them better understand without any pressure or judgment. This class is interactive and designed for students who need a little extra help in understanding the material. The student will be given example problems to discuss and practice solving with the teacher. Students are expected to understand the basic math concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I specialize in online and homeschool tutoring (i.e. Khan Academy, Laurel Springs). (I do not tutor Statistics or Physics at this time.) Due to the high demand of this class, no shows may receive half their refund. Please let me know before the start of class if there is a conflict of schedule.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of the concepts used in their current Mathematics course, such as using formulas, graphing, and solving equations.
