1-on-1 Brain Games Intensive (2x/Week for 4 Weeks) (Dyslexia & ADHD Friendly)

Students who cannot commit to this schedule should consider a different class option within my offerings. Thank you! *** 

4 Week 1:1 Intensive: Executive Functioning through Games is an engaging, intensive course for students who would benefit from improving underlying skills needed for academics. 

Join me for intensive learning through games! Together, we'll spend time improving skills such as:
- working memory
- processing speed
- attention
- memory (both  visual and auditory)
- long term memory

We use games, exercises, practice, and fun to increase skills and solidify progress.

We will play games on the screen, in nearpod, and on individual (real life) white boards with a dry erase marker. One example game is "memory" where I will show the student a pattern or picture on my screen, and then count to 5. Once the picture is hidden, I'll ask a distracting question like, "are you wearing blue?". Then we'll see if they can remember the pattern! Then the student will draw what they remember on their own whiteboards and then show the class. We'll practice this and work on increasing difficulty as the student is able.

This course is 1-on-1 tutoring. The benefit of 1-on-1 is I can customize our work based on the student's level and needs. This is a truly customized program!

Learners can be of any level. I will work with them to improve skills, regardless of ability! For example, we'll practice letters and numbers with younger students, while older students may practice multiplication, division, skip counting, and comprehension! All new concepts are introduced and practiced through interactive games.
