Class Experience

Logic puzzle games form the bedrock of children's cognitive growth, nurturing their problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to think critically – essential skills that empower them to navigate complex academic tasks especially classes that involve math, and life's challenges with ease.

This class is the perfect choice for learners who relish a good challenge and have a passion for puzzles. Whether your learner loves cracking complex logic puzzles or is a budding puzzle enthusiast, they'll find this course both stimulating and rewarding. It's also an ideal fit for gifted children looking to further sharpen their critical thinking skills while having a blast with like-minded peers.

During 16 weeks, we will meet once a week and learn the basic rules and strategies for 14 unique logic puzzle games. Learners will then work on sample puzzles independently with real-time guidance whenever needed. We will also reinforce what we learn through some mini games created by me! We'll use Nearpod or Google Jamboard for interactive puzzle solving!

- There is no homework, however sometimes practice puzzles might be provided at the end of each class. Solving them is optional.

- The class materials are designed to fit within 35-40 minutes; however, sometimes learners would like to take longer to solve their puzzles. They are welcome to stay for an additional 5-10 minutes after the sessions end, but this is absolutely optional and only done if it is okay with everyone's schedules.
