I thought it would be really fun to try drawing a dragon eye. I'm very proud of it because I learned how to draw realistic eyes as well as improvise the shape because dragons don't exist in real life.

This is the original version of Godzilla. During his first appearance in 1954 he was black and white, so I decided that using his original colors would keep a faithful design to his debut appearance, and would also feel original for today's standards. Without his first appearance and that original idea of him the franchise of Godzilla would have never started in the first place, so choosing this design is meant to give respect to the first model that ever came out.

Hello! My name's Sybil, and I make a bunch of OCs when I'm bored! I played a game called Cookie Run: Kingdom, and there were two new costumes that were in the game which was a playwright and actor. I got inspired by it, and drew some costumes for my two OCs - Pluvia and Tempestade (Tempestade is male). I always got a feeling of calmness and solemness when i look at the art. It does feel relaxing, like a calm dance.

This piece invites the viewer to imagine the beauty of coming home after a long day at sea. The warm colours of the sunset and the reflection on the water show the feeling of a job well done. I found it challenging to create the small details, especially the people and the boat. I loved painting this. 2026 is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese lunar calendar. Both my grandpas, from my dad’s side and my mom’s side, were born in the Year of the Horse. I was inspired by survival in the wild. In my painting, a girl and her cat are camping in the wilderness. There are many different trees and plants around them, and many shades of green that make the forest look full of life. In the middle of the picture, there is a warm campfire lighting up the girl. She is fishing by the river with her cat beside her. You can see their reflections in the water. Far away in the wilderness, there is a rainbow that you can faintly see in the sky.

This painting is inspired by SZA’s SOS album cover, where she’s sitting alone at the edge of a diving board surrounded by the ocean. That image was based on a famous photo of Princess Diana sitting the same way on a yacht in 1997. I wanted to capture a similar feeling of isolation and not belonging, even as the world watches. The blue tones represent calm on the outside but sadness underneath.

I created this piece to show the feeling that even when no one is around, something is still watching. I used a single eye to represent awareness and presence in silence. I had mistakenly drawn over the ears with colored pencil, which made it impossible to erase. I overcame this problem by using a sand eraser, which was the perfect tool for the job.
