Hi, my name is Charlotte! This is my drawing featuring my OCs named Cameron (bottom) and Hyun (top). They went through a lot together, but Cameron couldn't save Hyun from the things and people hurting him. Cameron now has to live with the possibility that one day he will slowly forget Hyun's face, then his voice, and then him altogether.

I used multiple techniques I learned from my watercolor class to make and layer this picture. I made it during class and also added more after class.

I am in high school and have been learning about lots of amazing artists and painting with Ms. Jenn Augustin for about three years. I am influenced by so many artists and really like to express myself in my art. This is called "Sunset" and I tried to emulate the bold, bright colors I sometimes see, and taking it further. I like making brush strokes that have movement and flex, and I like to blend colors to create something more.

My name is Harriet! My work is inspired by the Warrior Cats book series. I have met many people because of this series who are also inspired to draw because of it. "Sharing Dreams" shows my original character Skyleaf and the series' most popular cat, Firestar. They are doing the cats' custom of "sharing dreams" with StarClan, the spirits of their ancestors. It shows Firestar as a ghost, representing how even though warrior cats was released years ago, they still inspire fans worldwide.

I seriously don’t know why I made this, I was lying in bed and I had a sudden thought about drawing a snake, then I just built on that. Everything below the collarbone on the skeleton is based of a Google image, the rest is from my imagination, hence why the snakes look like gummy worms 🐛. Uhhhh I don’t know what to put…I spent around maybe 6-8 hours on it, during class periods, and I was really scared to color the snakes because it was my first time using shading and blending with color. Tysm!

My name is Joshua, and I love art. I have been taking classes on Outschool with Mr. Stokes and Mr. Chris. My piece is about my brother. He passed away at 4, and I didn't get much time with him. In my drawing, I wanted to capture his imagination. I thought about whether he was alive today, and that he would have been ready to graduate high school, work, and travel. However, I was only able to capture his short childhood and things he liked, such as dinosaurs, cars, the beach, and the forest.

This is my favorite My Hero Academia character. He is brave and makes me feel brave as well.

Hi, My name is Francene and I’m an eleven year old girl. I love to animate and draw. I do both physical and digital art but I decided to make a digital animation. This piece was inspired by a book series called Warriors. I am proud bringing the book series to life.

I did this piece because it made me feel good about myself, it made feel like a good dancer because I love to dance, I like to feel free and wild. I feel like a blossoming Magnolia flower when I dance. like a flower waiting to blossom.

My inspiration is the book “Warriors” by Erin Hunter. I this piece makes me feel proud and happy, because I kept trying to get the eyes right and I didn’t give up.

This painting represents the love I have for animals. And yes, I’m the kind of kid who watches a bird feeder for hours. When I spot a small sparrow, I don’t view him as an annoyance; I see him as a creature who has friends, a life, and a personality. This mountain lion’s gaze shows the trauma he’s experienced, the loss he has endured, and life he has known. It inspires me to know that even when life is tough, there is always a way out.

Hi! My name is Rebekah, and this is my art piece entitled "hope." In this drawing, I depict myself as a skeleton, which represents vulnerability and the beauty of originality. The bones are chipped and broken from trauma, betrayal, and hurt. However, despite all the pain from life circumstances and mentality, there is new growth. Flowers bloom from the vines crawling up the body, showing that hope can still be found in the darkest places of life, and there is always something more to live for.

I love to draw, especially with watercolours. I love nature and how bright and colourful butterflies are! It makes me feel relaxed and happy because of the beautiful sky and landscapes. The butterfly makes me feel inspired because it makes me think about all the awesome nature on earth!

I am passionate about art and attended many art lessons on Outschool. All these wonderful art teachers helped me to become more confident and to enjoy creating more than ever! - Our family got the long awaited Golden Retriever Rosetta. I am a young naturalist living on a ranch in New Mexico. This piece is inspired by the snowy winters here. It makes me feel happy, and like I'm going to have a snow day. Also I look forward to being cozy by the fireplace at home on a day like this.

The first thing I notice when I look at something is its color. I’ve been doing art for about a year. I mostly draw people but also enjoy drawing realistic things from a reference. I taught myself how to use Procreate by watching other artists online. I always listen to music when I draw. While I was drawing this, I was listening to “The Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel. The candle makes me feel satisfied at how the light and color blend together to create a realistic image.

I live in Alaska I love animals, horses are my favorite animal. I have 2 pet parakeets, 2 pet cats, and 3 pet goats. I painted this piece in my watercolor class. I have never been very confident in drawing/painting people, this is one of the first paintings I have done of a person and I am very proud of how it turned out.

I've had a passion for art from a young age, and I want to prove to myself how far I've come. I used the impasto technique to really bring the subject off the canvas. I wanted to create a sense of movement with the strokes of the paint fanning out from the wings and adding texture to the scales. I wanted this to feel like you could pluck it straight out of the canvas. I made shape of the flowers and the background more suggestive, blurry; trying to create a depth that pushes the moth forward.

My name is Leah and I am a 17 year old artist. One of my biggest inspirations has always been my mom, she inspired me to draw and to start working as a graphic designer. Since my mom is an artist, I loved drawing from a young age, and I’m grateful to her for encouraging and helping me improve. My piece is a hand-illustrated Macbeth spellbook inspired by Macbeth by William Shakespeare. Created on Procreate and developed into an animation, it reimagines the play from the perspective of the Weird Sisters. I began using Procreate during COVID-19, shaping my digital style and technique. Each page reflects Macbeth’s shift from honor to moral decline, using symbolism such as blood and animal imagery to show his loss of humanity and the lasting consequences of ambition.

I'm Ashley and I love toilet bound Hanako Kun when I first watched the anime. Later my mom got me manga and I got attached to the storyline. The artwork and the title is from the anime "The near and far shore" I got inspired by the name so I decided to make an art piece about it. The 2 characters "Hanako and Nene" are in my art piece. The near and far shore mean the world for living and the other shore for supernaturals/ghosts. I spent 3 hours and 34 minutes on this drawing.

My artwork is called “Circle of Leaves.” I painted it on a real plate and divided the circle into eight sections. Three sections represent the seasons that have leaves: spring, summer, and fall. The other five sections show leaves in different colors such as purple, orange, yellow, red, and green. I used contrasting colors in the background to make the leaves stand out. Leaves are beautiful and colorful, and they make me feel calm and happy.

Hello, my name is Charlotte and I'm so happy to be in this contest! Something that inspired my art was the beautiful, colorful city and the beauty of being up high to see it, and at the same time feeling a calm stillness of being alone and sitting in the rain. I also really wanted to put my OC Nauro in it, and having him looking down on the city, which I think came out really nice! I really hope you like my art!

While drawing, I was feeling I was in the meadow in this art and I am realized I am the future artist.

While working on painting an ocean wave, I was inspired by the curl at the tip of the wave. It reminded me of a dragons snout, so I continued painting it until my wave became a complete dragon. Looking at this dragon makes me happy because of how much I love reading about dragons and fantasy.

I’m a weaver and garment maker who pushes each project to teach me something new. I wove the striped, polka dot, and solid fabrics on an 8-shaft loom using the yarn shown, then constructed these boots from scratch on a last. This was my first time making boots. The project involved shaping with heat and stiffeners, setting grommets, securing heels, and adding leather trim. I love polka dots for both their look and structural challenge. This piece reflects my process: learning by doing.

This drawing is inspired by my favorite books series, Wings of Fire. The dragon is stretching after waking up in the morning. Dragons are my favorite thing to draw. The dragon in this picture is happy, and that makes me feel happy too.

This is the original version of Godzilla. During his first appearance in 1954 he was black and white, so I decided that using his original colors would keep a faithful design to his debut appearance, and would also feel original for today's standards. Without his first appearance and that original idea of him the franchise of Godzilla would have never started in the first place, so choosing this design is meant to give respect to the first model that ever came out.

I was inspired by survival in the wild. In my painting, a girl and her cat are camping in the wilderness. There are many different trees and plants around them, and many shades of green that make the forest look full of life. In the middle of the picture, there is a warm campfire lighting up the girl. She is fishing by the river with her cat beside her. You can see their reflections in the water. Far away in the wilderness, there is a rainbow that you can faintly see in the sky.
